Adrian Wägli Takes Office

Adrian Wägli, the new Vice President for Operations, has taken office. Edouard Bugnion, Vice President ad interim, handed over the reins to him on Monday, December 1.

Adrian, who grew up in Bern, knows our school well. He studied rural engineering at EPFL and then completed a PhD in information and communication sciences. His main area of research was the integration of navigation sensors used to calculate the performance of athletes. He subsequently pursued a successful career at the international consulting company Eraneos, where he first became a member of the Group Management Board and from 2022 onwards was responsible for the Swiss business as a managing partner.

The new Vice President for Operations will begin a series of internal and external meetings during the first quarter to quickly build the relationships required for the position.
